  • Upon arrival, please check-in at the Witham Pavilion: Fairgrounds Map

  • NOTE: DO NOT go to the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

 
SCHEDULE

  • Check-in begins at 8:30 am, with the rehearsal beginning at approximately 9:00 am. 

  • Auditions will take place throughout the day.

  • Lunch will be provided. 

  • The camp will end by 5pm. Please make sure your ride is there at that time, if necessary.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Pencil and notebook to take notes during rehearsals and meetings

  • Gloves if using a corps horn, available for sale

  • Wire music stand

  • Horn towel

  • Water jug

  • Wear comfortable, form fitting clothes in which you can move.

  • Print out and bring the pages of the audition packet pertinent to your instrument. 

BRASS

  • BRING A BELL FRONT MARCHING INSTRUMENT IF POSSIBLE!! Our inventory of brass instruments will not be able to cover everyone in attendance. If you can't bring a horn, you should still bring a mouthpiece to use during the rehearsal. If you use a Blue Stars' provided horn you will be required to wear cotton gloves.

  • Bring a towel (black or dark in color) for use during brass rehearsals 

PERCUSSION

  • Snares and Tenors: bring marching sticks/tenor mallets. Mallets are provided for front ensemble and bass drum auditionees. 

  • Bring a practice pad  

COLOR GUARD

  • Wear comfortable, form fitting clothes in which you can move.

  • Bring guard equipment if you're able (flag, rifle, sabre)
