2026 SPRING TRAINING INFORMATION

Please find the following general information to begin making plans for your arrival to Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa for Spring Training 2026.

Additional details and logistics regarding move-ins for Spring Training will be communicated via Slack in the coming weeks.


LOCATION: Upper Iowa University - Fayette, Iowa

  • Leadership Team Early Arrival - Wednesday, May 27, 2026

  • Full Corps Member Move-In Day - Friday, May 29, 2026

  • Book flights to arrive into Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP).

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:
FRIDAY, MAY 29, 2026 *

9:00 AM - Leadership Orientation
2:00 PM - Shuttle 1 Departs MSP
4:00 PM - Shuttle 2 Departs MSP / Check-In Begins
7:00 PM - Shuttle 3 Departs MSP
7:30 PM - Snack served until approx. 10:30 PM
9:00 PM - All members arrive to Waldorf University
10:00 PM - Member Meeting in the Boman Fine Arts Center
12:00 AM - Quiet
12:30 AM - Lights out

FLYING: Schedule all flights to arrive before 6:00 PM CST at the latest. Earlier is better! Purchase a bus ticket for transportation to Forest City.

Leadership Team must book flights to arrive before 5:00 PM on May 30.

 

Book ARRIVALS to MSP - Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN

Flights MUST arrive by 6:00 PM CST or earlier to connect with the corps bus shuttle transportation on the day of. Specific details regarding the shuttle bus timing and pickup location will be communicated closer to move-in day.

DRIVING: If driving, you can arrive anytime on May 29 and should proceed to the the South Villages dorm parking lot on the UIU campus.

If being dropped off, please plan to arrive before 9:00 PM CST.

Note: In past years some members have flown into MSP a day early to take advantage of a less expensive flight. This is ok, but understand that housing and transportation to/from a hotel will not be provided by the Blue Stars.

Arrival / Departure During Spring Training (From June 1-29)

If you are traveling TO / FROM Spring Training after May 29, 2026 you still need to purchase shuttle tickets from CID.

It is a two hour drive from MSP to Forest City, Iowa. Please schedule your flights to Arrive before 2:00 PM and to Depart after 2:00 PM to ensure safe & timely shuttle transportation.

Arrivals / Departures While On Tour

In general, members do not depart from the corps after move-ins. However, we certainly understand there may be circumstances or once in a lifetime events that required leaving tour. Please contact the Corps Director, Brad Harris, to discuss if this applies to you.

End of Season - AUGUST 8, 2026

At the conclusion of the season, members will be responsible for transportation home. The corps will dismiss from the Lucas Oil Stadium parking lot after finals. Bus(es) will go to the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) from the DCI Finals lot for drop off.

Please book your flight departing from Indianapolis International Airport (IND) anytime on Sunday, August 9, 2026.
