Josh Guttveg

Audio Caption Manager

Josh Guttveg is an arranger, sound designer, and all-around audio specialist, having worked with and designed for numerous groups across the state of Florida and beyond for both indoor percussion and outdoor marching programs. Josh has been involved in the marching arts for over 15 years, assuming multiple responsibilities and positions over the years. He started his indoor marching career with Stryke Percussion, playing synthesizer from 2011 and then 2013-17. In 2013, he also started his DCI career with the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps as their assistant conductor for the 2013-14 seasons. Josh would then earn the position of synthesizer with the world championship organization Carolina Crown, spending 2 years with them and aging out in 2016. After aging out, he returned to Crown as their Audio Intern in 2017, launching his career in marching audio and becoming one of their Audio Engineers in 2018 and Lead Audio Engineer for the 2019 season. He would also return to Stryke Percussion after his age out to become Audio Caption Head for both the World and Open groups from 2018-present, also consulting with the championship-winning ensemble Stryke Winds throughout the years. 

David Nekula

Lead A1

David Nekula aged out with the Blue Stars in 2022, but his first drum corps experience was as a member of Jersey Surf in 2018. Ever since, he has been active in the art as a fan, educator, and audio engineer. David has served as a music and visual tech, as well as audio technician, at his

former high school since graduating in 2019. In 2023 he was an A3 at the Cadets and started working on the audio team with George Mason University Indoor Percussion whom he most recently finished the 2024-2025 season with. In 2024 David was an A2 with the Blue Stars and now serves as
the lead A1 for the 2025 season. 

Katherine Stone

A1

Katherine started her marching career at Eden Prairie HS in Minnesota, and continued to be a member at River City Rhythm in 2018 and 2019. She has been involved with George Mason University from 2019-2021 and 2023-2025. Her other staff experience includes Spirit of Atlanta, Music City Drum Corps, Imperial Dynasty, as well as several high school ensembles in Virginia.

Katherine currently lives in Northern Virginia, working as an Audio Engineer with Union Stage Presents in DC. In her free time, she enjoys doing crosswords and wrapping cables. 

Katherine is very excited for her first season with Blue Stars!

Rohan Bhat

A2

Rohan Bhat is an audio engineer/ consultant, and percussionist who has worked with various indoor and outdoor groups in teaching front ensemble and running sound in Texas, across both indoor percussion and outdoor marching programs.

After several years as a performing member in the marching arts, he began his professional marching audio career in 2024, joining the Blue Stars’ audio team. This will be his second year on the Blue Stars’ audio staff.

Rohan currently lives in Houston, Texas, working as a live sound engineer and studies music at the University of Houston. He enjoys watching Sports and making cables look neat.

Anita McClane

A2

Anita McClane is currently the Band Director at Seminole Ridge High School in Loxahatchee, FL. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL, where she studied Flute with Elissa Lakofsky. While at FAU, Anita participated in the Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Band, and The Pride of the Atlantic Marching Band.  

Since 2017, Anita has worked with several Florida Bands as both a visual and a music technician. Notably, she has worked with the Palm Beach Central Bronco Band and the Seminole Ridge Winged Regiment where she served as the Music Caption Head and Visual Technician.

Anita is also active in the indoor winds and indoor percussion activity. She was a member of Stryke Wynds in 2020. In 2023, she returned to Stryke Wynds as an Audio Team Member and helped the program obtain a gold medal in Winds Independant World. In 2024, she was on the audio staff for Stryke Wynds and Stryke Percussion.

Anita started her DCI experience with the 7th Regiment Drum and Bugle Corp from New London, CT as a Conductor in 2018. She  is very excited to continue her experience with the Blue Stars Audio Team!

Anna Kammerer

Audio Intern

This is Anna’s first season with the Blue Stars and first season with any drum corps! Anna is majoring in Audio Technology and minoring in Music at Clemson University, and will graduate in 2027. She marches baritone in the Clemson Tiger Band and is on the uniform managing team. She has also been involved in CU Singers, basketball pep band, Symphonic Band (bassoon), and Concert Band (tuba).

Anna is from Central Illinois, where she was active in her high school band and choir programs. She hopes to continue to be involved in drum corps audio and learn from the very best! 

Audrey Morales

Audio Intern

Audrey Morales is a full-time student at Oklahoma State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Music Industry. She works as a stagehand at both the McKnight Center for the Performing Arts and the Greenwood School of Music on OSU’s campus. A low brass specialist with tuba as her primary instrument, Audrey is entering her fourth year working with the Bartlesville High School marching band. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, working with sound and lighting technology, sipping coffee, and sneaking in a nap whenever she can.
