Senior Administrative Specialist

Devon began his time with the Blue Stars as a rehearsal assistant and went on to march euphonium for the ‘16, ‘17, and ‘18 seasons, joining the admin team shortly after. He was previously a member of Freedom Indoor Percussion and worked as a high school visual instructor around the country.

Devon currently resides in the Boston area and is completing his M.A. in International Affairs at Boston University with a specialization in International Conflict & Security. He has studied and worked extensively in Europe including Germany, Cyprus, and Bosnia & Herzegovina focusing on genocide prevention and ethnically-divided societies. He received his B.S. in Political Science and Philosophy at

Illinois State University where he was also a member of the Big Red Marching Machine, Pep Band, and served as President of the Zeta Alpha chapter of Tau Beta Sigma.

In his free time, Devon is a substitute teacher in Somerville, MA and enjoys traveling, spending time in museums and coffee shops, and reading. In addition to his corps responsibilities, Devon is a barber for the members and staff of the Blue Stars during our summer tours.
