Kyle Smit
Battery Ensemble Consultant
This is Kyle’s second year at Blue Stars on battery staff. Kyle marched with the Mandarins in 2013, Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps from 2014-2016, POW 2014 and Pulse Percussion from 2015-2018. Kyle was a quad tech at Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps in 2018 and at Pacific Crest from 2019-2021. He has taught multiple high schools across Southern California including San Marino, Gahr, La Quinta, and Chino Hills. He is also currently a quad tech at Pulse Percussion since 2022.
Kyle graduated from University of La Verne in 2017 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and graduated from National University in 2022 with a Master's in Education in Inspired Teaching and Learning, and a Single-Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics. He is currently a math teacher in the Hacienda/La Puente School District.
