Emily Nelson-Garcia
Front Ensemble Instructor
Emily Nelson-Garcia is an active percussion educator in Southern California. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Percussion Performance from California State University Long Beach and has performed with marching ensembles such as Orange County Independent Percussion, Broken City Percussion, RCC Indoor Percussion, Mandarins Drum & Bugle Corps, Pacific Crest Drum & Bugle Corps, and Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps.
Since aging out, Emily has worked with the front ensemble at Vessel Indoor Percussion and is currently working with Meraki Percussion, and is super excited to be joining the Blue Stars front ensemble staff for this upcoming season.
