Muriel Hague
Assistant Visual Caption Head
Muriel Hague is excited to return for her third season teaching the Blue Stars. She began her drum corps career by marching with the Colts in 2010 and ’11. She then joined the Bluecoats for the ’12 and ’13 seasons. After aging out, Muriel spent five years teaching Genesis Drum and Bugle Corps where she was Visual Caption Head in 2017 and ’18.
Muriel is a native of the greater Kansas City area, but currently resides in Houston, where she attends law school at the University of Houston. In addition to her school work, she is a Visual Coordinator at Monarch Independent Percussion, a WGI World Class finalist. Muriel has also consulted for Julianna Drum and Bugle Corps, a DCE group based out of Middelburg, Netherlands.
Muriel has worked as a marching and music clinician across the United States. She holds a bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Kansas.
