Griffin is a recent graduate from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma and acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumental Music Education.  He participated in many ensembles including the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and the Cowboy Marching Band where he served as one of the drum majors for 2022.  Throughout his time there, the ensembles were under the direction of Dr. Joseph Missal, Dr. Douglas Henderson, Dr. Tyler Austin, and Dr. Brad Genevro. 

Griffin was in the clarinet studio under the instruction of Professor Babette Belter.  He was also involved in a masterclass hosted by the New York Philharmonic and Associate Principal Clarinetist, Pascual Martinez-Forteza.  As a brother of the Alpha chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, he was involved in community service and music activities.

Griffin was originally from Flower Mound, Texas, before he moved to Terrell, Texas earlier this year after his recent college graduation.  He is currently the assistant band director at Wills Point High School in Wills Point, Texas, where he teaches the visual program in the marching band, as well as the concert band during the winter/spring.  

In the summer of 2023, Griffin was a part of the administration team for the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps as an intern.  He is very excited for the upcoming season and cannot wait to start working with the 2024 staff!
